Scott Sports knew that it was crucial to maintain momentum following the success of its original Grenade knee pad. That’s why the company teamed up with Marco to create an even better version of its popular product to offer bikers more protection and ventilation during their rides. As the principal designer, Marco worked side-by-side with professional riders to gain valuable insight that allowed him to perfect the usability of the final product. Marco workshopped several prototypes through the product development process to combine shock-absorbing D30 material with a tailored, abrasion-resistant vented construction to create the most comfortable knee pads on the market.
