Scott wanted to widen its product offering to include ski back protectors that were in line with current design trends. These protectors include a D3O foam pad and carefully placed compression areas for an improved fit. Scott ended up producing two different protectors that are surprisingly cohesive. Although they look different, they have the same advanced custom D30 pad technology. As Principal Designer, Marco strategized how to incorporate key features into the premium protector that would be accessible to entry-level skiers. He innovated a modular system composed of layers of shock-absorbent foam that offer varying protection to keep skiers of all levels safe.
